My new spot.

Mt. Rubidox

I was recently introduced to a place called mt.rubidox, let me tell you i love that place. people go there to hike and run up it. it is a 3 mile trail that leads up to a view that is describable!The first time i went up there and looked out, all you see is the city of riverside and its surrounding areas its so beautiful to see from that high up there. 

Now its a workout.

IMG_6034.jpgrunning up there is a very hard task to complete, i ran about half way the last time i went and i wasnt the easiest thing! lol i know if i condition myself enough i could do it! it is for-sure easier to run down, so thats normally what i do! just hiking up there you break a little sweat, it helps when you go at a faster pace. i am determined to get into shape where i can run up and down that mountain without passing out. im slowly but surely getting there:) This was me the first time i went up there on a hike with my friend aneesa!

Where do i work out?
So i attend a gym that is pretty near by, its called fitness 19. i like it there it is a very calm and comfortable environment. i never feel like i am being watched or under pressure to be a certain way. i have been going to that gym for about a year now and i am completely happy with the hygiene there as well as the people that work there, they are always nice.:) Yay for the Fitness 19! and shh its cheap:)
When i get there...(leg day) 
+I go on the elliptical to warm up for about two miles.
+i go to the leg machines, such as the inner thigh ones and outter thighs one.
+i run
+i stretch

When i get there...(arm day)
+i go on the elliptical to warmup for a mile.
+i go on the arm machines, such as the bench press and triceps.
+ i run
+i strecth

How I eat.

What it really takes.When you are trying to become fit, you cant just exercise. It is important to eat a balanced and healthy diet as well as exercising.Also, you have to have some type of self control because you need to be able to tell yourself what is good for you to eat and what isnt.

what ive done. lately i have tried to stay away from as much unhealthy foods as possible. recently my church participated in what normally Catholics do. Its called lint and what they do for lint is you take something out of your life for 40 days that you love. The purpose of doing it is to show god you could live without something, in return God is suppose to bless you. For my lint i chose to give up fast food and soda, this is because i love them both. Over those 40 days i realized that i felt more energized and happy to be alive.

Now. since lint is now over i find the temptation a little stronger because i don't have something that is holding me back from those REESES. eeeekkk, but i will survive.
